The Lions Clubs that operate the Lions Bookshop in the Marlowes Centre got together to purchase a new minibus, to replace the very old one owned by Heathlands School for deaf children, at a cost in excess of £35,000.
At the presentation of the New minibus, St Albans Lions Club & Harpenden Lions Club were present.
Also attending were the Headteacher of Heathlands School, Lesley Reeves Costi, Carol Bush the school administrator & a teacher Thomas McWhinney.
