Who are the Lions?

Lions International

St Albans Lions Club, which was formed in 1966, is very active in St Albans and surrounding areas and is a registered charity (CIO 1184282).  It is part of Lions Clubs International - the world's largest service club organisation with  45,000 Clubs and more than 1.3 million members

You can find Lions Clubs throughout the UK - we have 17,000 active members belonging to over 900 local clubs.  Every day, Lions are having fun, giving back by organising remarkable and memorable fundraising activities - every single penny raised goes to good causes.  Every year in Europe alone, Lions Club Members volunteer around 6 million hours giving of their time freely and willingly.

How to get involved

We meet at the St Michaels Church Parish Centre, St Albans, AL3 4SL on the 1st Monday of each month (except bank holidays) at 20:00 - 21:30 hours.

If you are thinking about volunteering, then please come and meet us - you will be very welcome!  We have started to meet face-to-face again

Alternatively just join us by volunteering at an event or in the Lions Bookshop
